Terms of Use

The TSLO is a product of a collaboration between the University of California, Berkeley (UCB) and Montana State University (MSU). The TSLO is a robust system for retinal imaging and eye tracking. The applications include general retinal imaging, eye motion measurements, tracking and targeting specific retinal features with light stimulation, visual psychophysics, and open loop control of external eye tracking systems (such as eye motion corrected OCT).

With this page, we demonstrate our commitment to share the full details of the TSLO free-of-charge for any non-commercial applications. We do, however, expect you to fully acknowledge your use of all, or any part of, what we are providing whenever results are presented. This acknowledgement is in the form of in-line text, as well as citations of our publications. Specific instructions for acknowledgements are given below.

In line text:

The TSLO was built with generous support from the TSLO consortium. The hardware design, parts lists and software were downloaded from http://roorda.vision.berkeley.edu/TSLOshare. TSLO details are found in the following publications: TSLO design and specifications: Sheehy et al (2012); Eye tracking methods and performance: Vogel et al (2006), Arathorn et al, (2007); FPGA application design and performance: Yang et al, (2010).

Specific Acknowledgements:

If the TSLO is used to drive external eye tracking systems such as OCT scanners, then the following text should be added to the text above:

The use of TSLO for driving external tracking systems: Vienola et al (2012), Braaf et al (2013).
